The commercial division of beef of Grupo El Encanto was born on October 19, 1985, as an additional business area in the productive integration that Grupo Avendaño formed, enriching the agricultural and livestock divisions already in operation.

To start operations, a commercial premises concession was acquired in the Municipal Market of Navolato, Sinaloa. The growth was reflected with the start-up of retail branches (currently nine in Navolato, one in Guamúchil and five in Culiacán), adding the operation with five wholesale distribution centers: Culiacán, Los Mochis, Guamúchil and Mazatlán in Sinaloa, La Paz, BCS and Torreón, Coahuila.

In 1997, the company Carnes Selectas El Encanto, SA de CV was formed, given the need to formalize the growth presented in previous years, coupled with the consolidation of the corporate image and reaffirming the positioning of the ongoing business.

The business vision results, in partnership with cattle ranchers and meat traders from the Culiacán, Navolato and Guasave region, to build and put into operation a slaughterhouse for beef and pork slaughter, as well as a cutting and packing room at the top. empty with the TIF (Federal Inspection Type) standards, giving added value to meat products, consolidating and expanding the commercial chains that the company has. This new company that maquila slaughter, cutting, added values ​​and high vacuum packaging is Rastros y Frigoríficos de Culiacán, SA de CV TIF 426 Plant, which is USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) certified.

In the commercial part of the company, there is the institutional brand of beef classified for fattening: CARNENCANTO and economic commercial brands were developed for the medium-low markets: SABROCARNE AND ROBLECARNE, this as a vision and opportunity to reach the different market segments with adoc products for each of them.

It is important to mention that Carnes Selectas El Encanto, SA de CV, El Encanto Agropecuaria, SA de CV and the alliance with other farmers developed a commercial division (in addition to the slaughter and high vacuum packaging industrial) to increase volumes and be able to access to the self-service markets and export to the United States, Korea and Japan. Introducing three additional commercial brands: FAMIKARNE, FK SINALOA BEEF and GOLDCARNI. This strengthens the commercial part of Grupo El Encanto. Likewise, the slaughter plant is certified for KOSHER slaughter, reaching markets in California, Arizona, New Yersey, New York and Pennsylvania in the United States.
